The MichMATYC (Michigan Association of Two-Year Colleges) Conference is coming up on October 7-8 (but you can choose to come only 1-day). I will be presenting a talk at the conference on 'Capitalizing on Games and Activities in the Classroom'. However, there are are lots of other useful talks, such as 'Advanced MyMathLab Tools,' that I am sure that many people may be interested in as well. There is actually a group discount for registering by September 5. If you would like more information on MichMATYC, please visit http://www.michmatyc.org/. If you would like more information on the conference, please visit http://www.michmatyc.org/michmatyc2011/HomePage.htm. The abstract for the talk that I will be giving is below.

Abstract
This presentation will demonstrate some of the games and activities that I have created to use in my own classroom. I expect that people who attend this session will ‘capitolize’ on games and activities in the classroom and leave with something that can be taken back for immediate classroom use
